Assigned the theme of fire, Child in the Sun relates to perception, creativity and the second stage in the formation of matter. Originally written for my friends first baby, the song evolved through my understanding of Egyptian mythology to the creation of All things. Now dedicated to the child in us all, this song represents both the cruel and beautiful that is all around.  The determination to protect our children as best we can has an opposite duty; to see the world again through new eyes and re-member how to create in this divine realm of natural and man-made wonder.
